Meditation For Individual and Collective Health

Physical relaxation

We try to eliminate all muscle and nervous tension by putting ourselves in a comfortable position. We especially relax the muscles of the back and neck. We can promote relaxation with some deep, slow and regular breathing.

Emotional relaxation

We try to eliminate any agitation and disharmony. We resolutely resolve the burden of our personal concerns. Let’s settle ourselves in calmness, in serenity and harmony. We direct all the strength of our feelings upwards, in a fervent aspiration for the Supreme.

Mental Concentration 

We try to curb the unruly workings of the mind by ignoring any extraneous thoughts that arise. We repeat these words a few times:

CONCENTRATION – INTERNAL SILENCE

Now we direct all our interest, all our attention upwards, towards the world of REALITY, LIGHT, PEACE, JOY, LOVE and POWER where our souls live, those who are in Spirit and Truth: particles of the One Life, sparks of the Divine Flame.

As souls, we reaffirm the intimate union between us, and with all the other souls, in the bosom of the ONLY LIFE, in HIM in whom “we move we live and have our being”.

In the name of this ONE LIFE we invoke the healing power of Christ and of all the other good Forces and Beings who help humanity, so that we may be healed in mind, heart and body.

We invoke that our minds be healed from every darkness of error, from every limitation of prejudice, from every dogmatism and from every criticism, and that they become instruments capable of receiving and transmitting the radiant truths of the Spirit.

We invoke that our hearts be healed of every passion, of every impurity, of every attachment, of every aggression, of every fear and of every depression – and that instead they be pervaded by PEACE, JOY and RADIANT LOVE.

We call upon our bodies to be healed from every impurity, from every disease and from every weakness; that a powerful wave of DIVINE LIFE should permeate them, heal them and regenerate them.

We invoke this integral health to become better and more effective collaborators with God in the implementation of His great evolutionary plan.

We invoke the same threefold health for all those who are dear to us, especially those who need help.

Let us now turn our hearts, our minds and our souls to the evils that trouble collective humanity, invoking Higher Guidance by invoking together:

“From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men –
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power
restore the Divine Plan on Earth.”
