Psychosynthesis
– A collection of basic writings

Psychosynthesis has been called a psychology with a soul because, in contrast to general psychology, it maintains that the innermost core of man is soulful, i.e. contains a spiritual essence.

The father of psychosynthesis, Dr. Roberto Assagioli was one of the great figures of modern psychology. He was one of the few psychologists to have actively participated in two psychological revolutions. The birth of psychoanalysis and depth psychology, on which he wrote his doctoral dissertation in 1910, and about 50 years later, where he participated in the birth of humanistic and transpersonal psychology.

Psychosynthesis is truly an integral psychology as it offers a holistic understanding of the human inner universe, where there is room for Freud’s psychoanalysis, Maslow’s humanistic psychology, and the deep insights of the Eastern yoga schools.
