SOUL INFUSION AND INFUSION BY THE SOUL

A distinction must be made between “soul infusion” and “infusion by the soul.”
The process of soul infusion — of becoming a soul-infused personality — is a gradual process that takes place over the course of a lifetime.
In addition to this continuous process, through which one, as a personality, gradually becomes soul-infused, it is possible to experience temporarily — as in moments of meditation — what is taking place from the other point of view. That is, by identifying oneself with the soul, one can experience the process of “infusion by the soul,” in which, as soul, one infuses the personality.
